COMMITMENT EXPECTATIONS

You may train at multiple clubs, but athletes selected for national competition teams need to participate in this competition series with South Bucks only. Exceptions are possible but must be discussed and agreed with us pre-season.
MORE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES?

Court time is very hard to come by in our area and we have players from a large geographical area which means logistics can be difficult to arrange more than x2 trainings per week. We do collaborate with other clubs, so just ask and we will recommend.

We encourage players who are keen to advance to get extra, quality playing time - see COMMITMENT EXPECTATIONS & PATHWAY INFO. Please speak to us about available additional training options in your area.

WHY 4-A-SIDE?

4-a-side is easier to facilitate in English sports halls where badminton courts are plenty but full size courts are scarce. Also, 4-a-side enables touches of the ball and develops skills faster - and it's fun!
WHEN IS INDOOR COMPETITIVE SEASON?

The indoor competition season usually runs from late September to Easter term break (with break for Dec holidays)
WHAT ABOUT OFF-SEASON INDOOR TRAINING?

Yes! We do it ,but it varies based on venue and coach availability-- if you would like to train beach or indoor in the 'off' season, just message us!
OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULTS?

We proudly supported adults until post pandemic when the demand for serving new U18 players was unprecedented. Adults interested in playing please contact Aylesbury Vale, Wycombe Eagles or Maidenhead.
DO YOU OFFER BEACH TRAINING?

Absolutely! We adore beach volleyball and you can arrange training at our private court near High Wycombe (message us for more info) and we also recommend Deep Dish St Albans and Oxford Beach Volleyball Club, both offer regular training
For beach competitions in across the UK, check the UK Beach Tour calendar
WHAT IS A TYPICAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY?

Many of our players family members have played abroad -- and comparatively in England the experience is more complicated - to help navigate, please see diagram below:
