South Bucks Volleyball is new in 2016 and has been created to support youth and adult volleyball at the beginner, recreational and advanced competitive levels in the High Wycombe area.
Together, in conjunction with our partners and talented coaching team, we have already introduced volleyball to more than 1000 (!) area young people as well as supporting Juniors & Ladies Teams in the BVA (Berkshire Volleyball Association League).

Coach & Referee
Sue has 20+ years experience playing volleyball local league and NVL in Sheffield, Norwich & Camden, London. As a Level 2 qualified coach, Sue previously led Camden Women's NVL team, as well as beginner, advanced adult and mixed ability sessions. Sue is also the Head Coach for the u15 girls South East England squad, 2019 Inter Regional Champions.

Matt is a UKCC Level 2 volleyball coach who first played NVL aged 15. At the University of Birmingham, Matt captained the men’s team and coached the ladies team to their then best ever BUSA ranking. Matt played for the Danes Watford, trained by international coach Paul Westhead, winning the National Men's Shield in 2011 along side GB coach Branislav Kovac.

Arsene has more than 20 years experience coaching indoor and beach volleyball. Recently, Arsene received his FIVB Level 2 coaching qualification and was appointed as an England Beach Volleyball Coach for Junior Girls.
Arsene brings the team a wealth of knowledge and is renowned in the volleyball community for his friendly spirit and fantastic Belgian pancakes.

Inspired by his daughters who both play on the team, Charlton received his Level 1 UK coaching qualification in 2016 and co-Founded South Bucks Volleyball. In 2017, Charlton added his Beach Volleyball and Referee qualifications and focuses on new player development .

Volleyball England Volunteer of the Year for 2017, Lauren is a Level 1 qualified coach with more than 9 years coaching experience, 7 in volleyball in both the US and UK. Lauren set up the club with husband Charlton and is also a keen recreational volleyball player.
