South Bucks Volleyball is new in 2016 and has been created to support youth volleyball at the beginner, recreational and advanced competitive levels in the High Wycombe area.
To date, our team has introduced volleyball to more than 1500 (!) area young people as well as supporting high performance Juniors in our National Competition Teams.
To support our community with the education and enablement of volleyball for it's fitness, competitive and social benefits.

Sue has 20+ years experience playing in local league and NVL in Sheffield, Norwich & Camden. As a Level 2 coach, Sue led Camden Women's NVL team and the Head Coach for u15 girls South East England squad--2019 Inter Regional Champions and runners-up in 2023.
U12 Development Coach
MATT
An ex Level 2 volleyball coach who first played NVL aged 15. At University of Birmingham, Matt captained the men’s team and coached the ladies team to their best ever BUSA ranking. Matt played for Danes Watford, with int'l coach Paul Westhead, winning the National Men's Shield in 2011.

Charlton is a co-Founder South Bucks Volleyball. Charlton is a qualified Level 2 and Beach Volleyball coach, as well as 3R referee and is our resident equipment expert.

LAUREN
Volleyball England Volunteer of the Year for 2017, Lauren has more than 12 years coaching experience, 10 in volleyball in both the US and UK. Lauren set up the club with husband Charlton to help her daughters and community enjoy the sport.

LISA
Lisa brings more than 25 years of NVL court experience to our junior teams. In addition to being an experienced player, Lisa is also a volleyball mum, supporting her kids who play for the club and currently leading our boys high performance programme for the second season.

STEF
An experienced setter herself and lover of the game, Stef is not only our club President, she provides administrative and moral support to all--on and off the court. Stef is also an active member of Aylesbury Vale volleyball.
