VOLLEYZONE  . . . HELP?

COMMITMENT EXPECTATIONS?

You may train at multiple clubs, but athletes selected for national competition teams need to participate in this competition series with South Bucks only.  Exceptions are possible but must be discussed and agreed with us pre-season.

WHAT IF MY CHILD WANTS MORE TRAINING?

Court time is very hard to come by in our area -- we require bolt in volleyball posts which means many sports halls are not suitable.   We also have players from a large geographical area which means logistics can be difficult to arrange multiple trainings per week.

We encourage players who are keen to advance to get extra good quality playing time --(see COMMITMENT EXPECTATIONS & PATHWAY INFO) please speak to us about available additional training options in your area

WHY  DEVELOP WITH 4-A-SIDE?

4-a-side is easier to facilitate in English sports halls where badminton courts are plenty but  full size courts are scarce.  Also, 4-a-side enables touches of the ball and develops skills faster.  (Oh and it's fun!)

WHAT ABOUT ADULTS?

We proudly supported adults until post pandemic when the demand for serving new U18 players was unprecedented.  Adults interested in playing please contact Aylesbury Vale, Wycombe Eagles or Maidenhead.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL YOUTH  DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY?

Many of our players family members have played abroad -- and comparatively in England the experience is more complicated - to help you navigate, please see diagram below:
